STEFANOVA AND FUKUOKA: A FEMALE DUEL

Italy's Nicoletta Stefanova (picture) and Japan's Haruna Fukuoka will dispute the title of the female singles' tournament at the Brazilian Open, in Sao Paulo. Both have won the semifinals this Sunday morning and are scheduled to play again at 15h30.
On first match of the day, Stefanova defeated Fujii from Japan, 4-0 (12/10, 11/8, 11/9 and 11/8).
"I won because of my service. I saw it wasn't working at first so I decided to change it, to be more aggressive. I worked", celebrated the Italian.
Fukuoka, the other finalist, maintained her invisibility against the South Korean player, Lee Eun Hee. She won 4-2, partials: 11/5, 9/11, 11/6. 13/15, 12/14 ans 11/6.
