A equipe Masculina do Brasil garantiu presença entre as 12 melhores do Campeonato Mundial Juvenil 2010, que está sendo realizada na Bratislava, na Eslovênia.
No domingo, disputou os três jogos que restavam no grupo e conseguiu a classificação mesmo perdendo dois deles para a Béliga, por 3 a 1, e França, por 3 a 0.
Na última partida, que decidia a classificação, os brasileiros Danilo Toma, Gustavo Souza e Eric Jouti surpreenderam a Sérvia em emocionantes 3 a 2 e conseguiram a vaga.
Nessa segunda-feira, o Brasil pega a Inglaterra em busca de um lugar nas quartas-de-final da competição.
Já a equipe Feminina não teve o mesmo desempenho e perdeu seu último jogo do grupo para a França, por 3 a 0, e agora poderá ficar apenas entre a 13ª e a 20ª colocação
